The Red Deer Regional Air Show has returned! The show which is slated for July 29th and 30th, is hosted by Red Deer Regional Airport.
The show’s last appearance was in 2003 and this year, the show promises a spectacular performance from the SkyHawks and the Snowbirds. According to Tourism Red Deer, the event “features Props & Pristons and the International Canadian Air Races, promising an unforgettable experience.”
Tourism Red Deer says visitors to the event will be “amazed by breathtaking aerial performances, captivating aviation displays, and thrilling car exhibits.”
Aviation enthusiasts will be treated to Aircraft displays, parachute demonstrations and more. “Donning their signature Canadian Flag parachutes, the SkyHawks will challenge gravity with daring maneuvers, bringing their parachutes in close proximity to each other, known as Canopy Relative Work, requiring the highest levels of skill, teamwork, and physical fitness”, reports rdnewsNow.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, consisting of teams of seven and nine planes, will reportedly make over 50 different formations throughout the show.
Also, the event will have STEM Education activities, Family-Friendly Entertainment with Vendors, and Food Trucks.
