Handbag essentials checklist for the raining season

For those cold rainy days, we decided to get you a checklist of items that will keep you cosy, dry yet stylish and can be contained in your handbag.

sweater
Sweaters are a must have in the rainy season. Forget plain old boring sweaters. Today’s sweaters are chic. Opt for bright colours so you don’t feel as gloomy as the weather.

Jacket
During work hours sweaters can be inappropriate. Go for jackets to keep warm and stylish, yet official.

Umbrella
A portable one has got to be in your handbag every time.

Rain Mac
Imagine a rain coat for grown ups. That’s the rain mac. It is a convenient and stylish way of keeping dry when it rains and it won’t get ruffled up by the wind.

Rubber footwear
Avoid having your lovely shoes ruined by the rain. Rubber shoes and sandals will effortlessly thread through bad weather without looking soggy. Luckily stylish ones are available.

Scarf/pash
We usually do not consider scarves during the rainy season. However, scarves or pashminas are an essential. They are so portable and when wrapped around the neck or head, they can help keep you warm.

Rain cap/bonnet
Restrict shower caps for indoor shower time. Use plastic rain bonnets for a rainy day instead of shower caps. That way you protect your hair from wetness and still look ladylike at the same time.

Heat Balm
Menthol aroma may not be our favourite but heat balms provide a mobile fire place for our hands during the cold weather.
