Rep Oye Joins Launch of Expungement Clinic to Seal DC Criminal Records

US Representative DC Dr. Oye Owolewa partners with indigenous groups including Time for Change, DC Dream Center, Christian Legal Aid of Washington, DC to make a change in the lives of folks who’ve been directly impacted by the justice system, said an official press statement by the Rep’s office.

The Ward 8 Expungement clinic was launched on January 21^st to “help create the foundation of a new justice system where all folks are equally protected and served, regardless of their zip code”.

Rep Oye believes in the rights of Washingtonians to representation, security and safety. Since his assumption of office, he has been working towards making life in DC more equitable for all.
