Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Donate to Nigerian Flood Victims

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex foundation has donated an unspecified amount of through their foundation, to the victims of flood in Nigeria.

Sky news, in a press release, revealed that the Archewell foundation reportedly made donations to both UNICEF and Save the Children in a bid to “help provide relief following devastating floods wreaking havoc in Nigeria”.

Reports have it that the flood that had affected most West African countries had displaced 1.3 million people and killed more than 600, leaving over 2,400 injured. The flood is said to have been the worse experienced in Nigeria since 2012.

Save the Children in a tweet, confirmed that “…Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Acrhewell Foundation has donated to Save the Children in Nigeria as our teams deliver life-saving supplies to affected families”.
