Apple Launches Its ChatGPT Intergration With Siri in Latest iOS Update

Apple released updates for its iPhone, iPad and Mac software, including a much anticipated ChatGPT integration with Siri.

The ChatGPT integration, which was originally announced in June, will allow the company’s Siri voice assistant to tap the chatbot’s expertise. It represents Apple’s most ambitious move into generative AI to date, positioning it to compete with tech giants Google and Samsung, who have already integrated similar features into their devices.

Users can ask the chatbot about photos and documents such as presentations. They can also ask ChatGPT to create written content in any app that supports the new Writing Tools feature.

Other new features include image playground and Genmoji. This allows a visual image generator that creates images based on text prompts. The Find My: Share Item Location also allows users to share the location of an AirTag or other Find My accessories with third parties.

These AI features will be available on the latest iPhone series.
