Nothing Phone 1 Receives New Software Updates with 5G Support on Jio

Nothing technology limited has updated its phone 1 with new OS OTA, camera enhancements as well as 5G support on Jio.

The latest update on the Nothing Phone 1, labeled Nothing OS 1.1.6 is 62.04mb in size and with the updates comes the 5G access for Reliance Jio users in India. The updates also includes several system enhancements as well as camera tweaks.

The updated Nothing OS 1.1.6 is widely available to users and it brings with it support for Google’s AR Core.

For the Camera, the company promises an update that allows sharper videos with improved stability, and an always-on by default recording light indicator. Nothing Phone 1’s maximum brightness when displaying HDR content has been increased, but it wasn’t stated to what level.

Also, the system launcher has been heightened to feel more fluid, along with its battery status display now more accurate. The NFC sound effect has been updated and some bug fixes added with the new system update.
