Doctor Who: First Image of New Stars Released

Doctor who is set to return next year and has released new images of the new doctor and his companion.

As filming of Doctor Who proceeds in Cardiff Wales, new images of the new Doctor and his companion has been released. The 15^th doctor will be played by Ncuti Gatwa and his companion Ruby Sunday will be played by Millie Gibson.

The BBC said Doctor will return in November next year with three special episodes to correspond with the 60^th anniversary. Gatwa was a star in Netflix’s Sex Education.

David Tennant will reportedly play the fourteenth Doctor for three specials next year, before Gatwa takes over the role as the Fifteenth Doctor. He will be part of the 60^th anniversary in 2023. According to Sky News, writer Rusell T Davies, said “Ncuti dazzled us, seized hold of the Doctor and owned those Tardis keys in seconds. It is an honor to work with him and a hoot, I can’t wait to get started.”
