Chelsea have agreed a deal to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as the permanent coach for the club. 51-year-old Pochettino will take over the managerial role of the club from Frank Lampard at the end of the season.
Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019. He will permanently succeed Graham Potter, who was sacked in April after less than seven months in charge.
Currently, Chelsea are 11th on the table and will end the season without a trophy. Although they will also not play competition next season, Pochettino will have a huge task of rebuilding Chelsea.
