The Calgary Police Service (CPS) are asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects in relation to a vehicle break-in and residential break and enter last month.
According to a news release by the police, “Sometime between Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, and Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, it is believed that a man and a woman broke the passenger window to a 2016 GMC Sierra truck that was pared at the Calgary International Airport and stole a garage door opener from the vehicle.”
The police believes the same suspects then broke into a residence located in the 1000 block of Tuscany Ridge Crescent N.W., by using the garage door opener to enter the garage and then prying open the door into the residence.
Police says various items were stolen from the home, including identification documents, a guitar, a television and a 2007 Honda Civic. “After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspects, we are asking for the public’s help”, said the police.
The female suspect is described as approximately 5’8” tall, with a medium build. She was seen on security camera footage wearing dark clothing. The male suspect is described as approximately 5’9” tall. He was also wearing dark clothing, along with a baseball cap. It is believed the suspects travelled in a gold, two-door GMC Sierra.
