Calgary Police Investigates Suspicious Death in City’s Southwest

The Calgary Police Service (CPS) homicide unit is currently investigating a suspicious death in the city’s southwest.

According to a CPS news release, at about 2am on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, officers responded to the 100 block of Creekstone Drive S.W. for reports of a person in medical distress. Upon arrival, officers located one person deceased.

However, after an autopsy was completed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death still remains undetermined.

“Our Homicide Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and are asking anyone with information to come forward. At this time, the identity of the deceased, a man in his 20s, is not being released”, says CPS news release.

Police is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the police by calling 403-266-1234 or drop anonymous tips on Crime Stoppers.
