WCW- Hilda Baci

Hilda Effiong Baci is a Nigerian Chef, Restaurateur, actress and the current holder of Guinness World Record marathon cooking.

Hilda, 27, is from Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. She graduated with a degree of sociology from Madonna University, Okija. Her love for culinary drove her to learn more, drawing inspiration from her mother, who is also a chef.

Hilda’s culinary passion led her to transform her into a full blown career as a chef. In March 2023, Hilda announced she would be attempting to break the record for the longest cooking marathon, a record previously held by Indian Chef Lata London.

Lata London cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes in 2019. On May 11, 2023, started her record breaking attempt titled “Cook-a-thon.” She went ahead to break the record and set a new one of her own by cooking for 100hours, 45 minutes.

Hilda received a huge support from Nigerians who trooped to the venue to cheer her on.  She also received massive support from high profile Nigerians including Vice President Professor Yemi Osibajo, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Tiwa Savage and many more Nigerian celebrities.

Asides being a chef, Hilda has appeared in films like Dreamchaser, A Walk on Water and Mr & Mrs. Robert.
