Calgary Police Service (CPS) says after an investigation with local businesses, a CCTV photo of the vehicle believed to have been involved in the hit-and-run collision in a parking lot on April 27, 2024 is being shared with the public in hopes of identifying the driver.

At approximately 2:45pm last weekend, police believes that a male pedestrian fell and was lying in a parking lot at Centex Memorial, located at 12 Fourth Street N.E. While the man was on the ground, a light-colored minivan, driven by a man who appears to be in his 20s, reversed out of a parking stall before pulling forward, the front passenger side of the vehicle rolled over the pedestrian.

Police described the minivan as an older-model silver, Honda Odyssey. CPS is appealing to the involved driver to please come forward. The victim remains in hospital in serious-but-stable condition.

Anyone with information as asked to call the police non-emergency number at 403-266-1234. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers through P3 Tips, 1-800-222-8477 or on www.calgarycrimestoppers.org
