A man has been hospitalized in critical condition after he was pulled from the Bow River on Thursday afternoon.
In a statement, Calgary police says around 3:45pm, they were called to an area along the river near the Crowchild Trail overpass in the city’s northwest for reports that an unresponsive man was floating down the river.
Calgary Fire Department crews helped pulled the man from the river and he was transported to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police is asking anyone with information about this incident to call 403-266-1234 or drop anonymous tips on Crime Stoppers.
