Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign RB Leipzig forward, Timo Werner @timowerner on loan until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old forward will reportedly fly to London for his medical and Spurs will cover his wages for the rest of the campaign. According to Sky Sports, there is also an option to buy the forward at the end of the season. Sky Germany reports that the signing fee stands at £15.5m.
Werner plays as a striker or winger for RB Leipzig. He has premier league experience with Chelsea after joining the Blues in 2020 for a reported fee of €50 million, winning the UEFA Champions League in his first season at the club.
In 2022, Werner returned to Leipzig, but prior to that he scored 23 goals in 89 appearances for Chelsea. He has scored two goals in 14 appearances for Leipzig, who revealed on Saturday, on social media, that he was not involved in their friendly with St. Gallen because of transfer talks.
