Tems Earns 2023 Golden Globe Nomination

Tems keeps adding to her long lists of achievements as she earns 2023 Golden Globe Nominations.

Award-winning superstar, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, has been nominated for Best Original Score in a motion picture based on her contribution to “Lift Me Up”, soundtrack for Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The 27-year old superstar was nominated alongside Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, and Ludwig Goransson, who all contributed to the song. Reacting to the news on Twitter, she tweeted “My God!! This one is too much.”

This is not her first achievement this year. In July this year, she became one of five Nigerian women to win a BET Award. She won the American Music Awards, for the Favorite Hip-Hop Song category. She was also nominated for 2023 Grammy Awards, for Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap performance categories, for “Wait For You” a song by Future, featuring Drake and Tems.

The 2023 Golden Globe Award will hold on January 10, 2023 at the Beverly Hilton in California, United States and will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
