Squid Game Actor, O Yeung-su Accused of Sexual Assault

The South Korean Media has reported that Squid game actor, O Yeung-su has been accused of inappropriately touching a woman in 2017.

According to The Korea Herald, The Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors office indicted the 78-year-old Mr. O without detention on Thursday over allegations that he inappropriately touched a woman in mid-2017.

The alleged victim filed the case in December 2021, but the case was closed in April 2022 without the police filing any charges against Mr. O. The Prosecutors reopened the investigation at the request of the victim.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actor denied all allegations during the investigation. “I just held her hand to guide the way around the lake”, he said.

“I apologized because she said she wouldn’t make a fuss about it but it doesn’t mean that I admit the charges”, he told Korean news broadcaster JTBC according to the Mirror.
