Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G was launched earlier this week. However, the company has only just revealed the price of these smartphones, as well as availability details.
The new Galaxy A35 5g smartphone was launched in two variants- 8GB + 128GB and 8GB+256GB, while the Galaxy A55 5G comes in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants. The Galaxy A55 5G runs on an Exynos 1480 SoC, while the Galaxy A35 5G runs on Exynos 1380 chipset.
The smartphones feature 6.6-inch AMOLED screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate and are equipped with triple rear camera units led by 50-megapixel primary sensors with OIS and autofocus. A 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. They run on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 and are confirmed by Samsung to get four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Both smartphones come with a fingerprint sensor for authentication. They include Samsung’s Knox Vault Security feature and have IP67 water and dust resistance built. The Galaxy A55 5G has a metal frame while the Galaxy A35 5G has a glass back. However, both are packed with 5,000mAh batteries with support for 25W fast charging.
Samsung is offering the Galaxy A55 5G 8GB RAM+128GB for Rs 39,999, the 8GB+256GB variant for Rs 42,999 and the 12GB+256GB variant for Rs 45,999. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A35 5G 8GB+128GB variant is offered at Rs 30,999 and the 8GB+256GB variant is Rs 33,999.
Both smartphones are now available for purchase via Samsung’s official website, Samsung Shop along Samsung’s official offline stores and other retail partners. Also, Samsung is offering Rs 3000 cashback on HDFC, OneCard, IDFC First Bank cards along with a 6 months No Cost EMI options. Otherwise, customers can own the Galaxy A55 5G at just Rs 1792 per month through Samsung Finance+ and all leading NBFC partners.
The smartphones will go on sale through online platforms starting March 18.
