Manchester United Agree on £60M Deal for Mason Mount

United and Chelsea have finally reached an agreement for midfielder Mason Mount

Manchester United have agreed on a £60 million deal with Chelsea to buy Mason Mount @masonmount. The England international is due to enter the final year of his Chelsea contract.

Initially, a £55million deal was rejected by Chelsea, and the clubs reentered talks and were able to agree on a £60 million fee. United tabled three bids for the 24-year-old throughout the summer window and the negotiations have now been concluded.

Mount have now been offered a five year contract, with Manchester United, along with an extra year option. Mount will now travel to Manchester for a medical.

However, it is understood that Mount is only on a £55 million signing, plus £5 million in add-ons.

Mount has played 195 times for Chelsea and has scored 33 goals since his debut in 2019. Mount also won the club’s player of the season award twice. He will be Manchester United’s first signing of the summer.
