The organizers of Miss Malawi 2022 pageant, Alpha Arts have announced that the first lady of the Republic of Malawi, Her Excellency Madam Monica Chakwera, will be the guest of honor at the finals of the 2022 beauty pageant.
On November 10, the contestants were opportune to meet with the first lady at State House on her invitation. She gave them a royal blessing and encouragement and promised to support the team.
The organizers announced on their official Facebook page that First lady of the Republic of Malawi will be the guest of honor at the grand finale which will take place at BICC auditorium in Lilongwe from 6:30pm on December 3.
Also, judges from the event have been revealed and they include, Linda Poya, Old Mutual Group Customer Experience Executive; Former Miss Malawi and Malawi’s Miss World Representative 2005, Rachel Landson; Pilirani Chuma Founder of Blantyre based Law Firm, Macdonald and Don Associates; Economist, entrepreneur and community developer, Sarah Kidy; and Former Miss Malawi 2001, Elizabeth Pulu Nkhwazi.
The organizers also identified sponsors which include Optical Photography, Serendib Hotels, Sky Energy Africa, Blueberry Travel Malawi, Makawa Fitness Centre, Chibiso Motors, Zoom Car Hire, MudHoneymw, Tabby Couture, Nyasa Mobile, Grand Palace Hotel Mzuzu. They also identified Zodiak Broadcasting Station as a sponsor and the main broadcast station for the event.
Twelve contestants will attend a boot camp, after which ten will be chosen for the final event. @MissMalawi @chakweramonica
