How Dylan Reischman Suffered Horrifying Leg Break in Fight Against Jaime Mora at Combate Global

In a Mixed Martial Arts Debut at Combate Global on Saturday, 21-year-old featherweight, Dylan Reischman @dylan_reischmanmma suffered a horrifying leg break while trying to defend a takedown.

The leg break according to MMA Fighting is one of the most “horrific injuries seen in recent memory in MMA.” MMA Fighting reports that Reischman suffered the leg break in the second round of his fight against Jaime Mora @jainemora_ at Combat Global: Ferriera vs. Morales.

Reischman was struggling to defend a takedown along the fence when Mora lifted him and tried to drive him to the mat. Unfortunately, Reischman’s left leg got caught at an awkward angle beneath both bodies and the leg snapped loudly at the knee.

Bringing the referee’s attention to the broken leg, the fight was abruptly halted. Mora was declared winner via TKO in his second pro fight.
