In the annual event which took place on Wednesday at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, Calif, the new Iphone 14 lineup as well as Apple watch and Airpods were revealed at the Apple first in-person event since the pandemic.
The Iphone 14 packed a number of new features, design updates and more. The Iphone 14 Pro and Pro Max feature a new super Retina XDR display with updated ProMotion technology that allows for an Always-on display.
The distinctive feature of the Iphone 14 includes a bigger and brighter main camera sensor, with 48-megapixel, safety features like emergency SOS via satellite and Crash Detection. The Iphone 14 Pro has a 6.1 inch screen, while the Iphone 14 Max is the bigger model. They come in four colors, space black, silver, gold and deep purple. The Iphone 14 Pro will start at $999 while the Iphone 14 Max will start at $1099.
The CEO, Tim Cook, announced that a new model of Apple watch Ultra and New Airpods Pro will be released as well. The Apple watch Ultra comes with a new watch face that has more information and a titanium case. The watch will sell for $799.
The New Airpods Pro have better sound quality, are wireless, with new touch control. They have longer battery life and can be charged with MagSafe chargers, says Apple. The Airpods will sell for $249.
The new Iphone 14 will be available to order on Friday, the new watches are available for preorders on Wednesday and will be in stores by September, 23. The new Apple Airpods will go on sale September 23.
