Adele Announces She is Extending Her Las Vegas Residency

Adele has added 34 new dates to her Las Vegas residency show. On Sunday, the singer announced that she is extending her stay at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace for more Weekends with Adele.

In a video shared on her social media, the 34-year-old singer told concertgoers that “Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough, and I know that. I know it’s not enough, so I am coming back.”

She said “I am coming back for a few weeks in June, and I am going to release it to make sure that anyone who wants to see it can. And then I will be back in summer, from the end of August until fall.”

In January 2022, Adele was forced to postpone the start of her residency last minute, which led to backlash from her fans. Adele’s residency ran from Nov. 18, 2022 to March 25, 2023, including a five-month series of Friday and Saturday night shows.

In other news, while Adele was performing at her residency on Saturday night, Taylor Swift was also performing on another stage in Lag Vegas. Taylor Swift was continuing her second weekend into her Eras Tour.

In the midst of performing on Friday night, Adele told her audience how jealous she was of those going to see Swift on Saturday night. She said “If anyone is going to see Taylor tomorrow, I’m fucking jealous. You know I love her.”

The additional 34 weekends of Adele’s residency will run from June 16, 2023 to November 4, 2023.
