Bimbo Ademoye is a Nigerian actress and television personality. She was born on February 4, 1991, in Lagos State, Nigeria. Bimbo Ademoye obtained a degree in Business Administration from Covenant University and later studied Acting for Film at the Del-York Creative Academy.
Bimbo started her career as an actress in 2014 and has since then featured in several movies and TV series such as “Looking for Baami,” “Hire a Woman,” “It’s About Your Husband,” “Desperate Housewives Africa,” and “Battleground,” among others.
She got her big break in 2017 when she starred in the movie “Back Up Wife.” Her performance in the movie earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2018 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
Recently, she starred in blockbuster movies, Ayinla, Anikulapo and Gangs of Lagos. Bimbo has won several awards for her acting performances including the Best Supporting Actress at the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. She is nominated for the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for, Best Actress in a Comedy/TV series; Best Actress in a Drama Movie or TV Series; and Best Online Social Content Creator.
Aside from acting, Bimbo Ademoye is also a television presenter and has hosted shows such as “Backseat,” “Gidi Culture,” and “Ladies First.” She is regarded as one of the most talented and versatile actresses in Nigeria and has continued to make significant contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry.
