Update: Missing Calgary Child Located

The Calgary Police Service (CPS) have located the child who was reported missing from the southeast community of Forest Lawn.

According to a statement by the police, “Richard, 12, was last seen leaving a school in the 1200 block of 47 Street S.E. at approximately 11:30am on Wednesday June 12, 2024.”

Investigators believed he left the school with the intention of traveling to Sunridge Mall, located at 2525 36 St. N.E.

Richard has now been found and the police thanks the media and public for their assistance.

The police did not give further details of where or how Richard was found.
