Update: Man Wanted on Warrants in Relations to Sexual Assault Located

The Calgary Police Service (CPS) has located James Francis Pritchard, who was wanted on warrants in relation to a sexual assault that occurred at a bus stop in the city’s southwest.

Recall that African Pride Magazine reported that according to a News release by CPS, “at approximately 1:15 am on Sunday, March 10, 2024, a woman was waiting at a bus stop located on 37 Street S.W., between 26 Avenue and 28 Avenue S.W., when she was approached by an unknown man.”

Police says the man was located, thanks to the swift actions of Calgary Transit Peace Officers. Pritchard has now been arrested and in police custody.

CPS thanked their partners at Calgary Transit for their “collaboration and assistance in this incident.”
