Tiwa Savage Dazzles Audience with Historic Performance at King Charles III Coronation

Nigerian singer and song-writer Tiwa Savage, performed at the coronation concert of King Charles III at Windsor Castle on Sunday evening.

King Charles III was crowned King of England on May 6, 2023. The Coronation concert was held on Sunday night at 8 pm as part of a three-day festivity.

Introduced as the “Queen of Afrobeats”, she wowed the audience with her rendition of “Keys to the Kingdom”, a song she recorded with Mr. Eazi and featured on Beyoncé’s album “The Lion King.”

Dressed in a green-colored taffeta fabric, designed by Lanre Da Silva, with an extension sweeping the stage behind her, Tiwa Savage performed accompanied by an orchestra that included violinists, drummers and backup singers.

Other top musicians at the concert are Lionel Richie, Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood, Lang Lang and Nicole Sherzinger.
