The Grammy award winning popstar, Taylor Swift, becomes the first artist to ever claim all ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100 in a single week for her album, Midnights.
Swift broke the record with her with all of the songs on the Midnights album, which was released on Friday, October 21. She beat the former record held by Drake who had nine out of ten songs on the Billboard, with his album “Certified Lover Boy, which was released September last year.
Taking number one on the spot is “Anti-Hero”, which happens to be the first song on the album. Anti-Hero recorded 59.7 million streams and 32 million radio airplay audience impressions. Other songs that made it to the top ten were: Lavender Haze; Maroon; Snow on the Beach; Midnight Rain; Bejeweled; Question…?; You’re On Your Own; Kid; Karma and Vigilante Shit.
Reacting to the news, Swift tweeted “10 out of 10 of the Hot 100??? On my 10th album??? I AM IN SHAMBLES”.
