Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme just launched its 13 5G alongside the realme 13+ 5G in India on Thursday.
The series comes with 50-megapixel dual rear camera units, 2MP portrait rear camera, and ships with Android 14-based Realme UI. Both devices carry 5,000mAh batteries with support for 80W wired fast charging. They support up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
Connectivity options on the handsets include dual 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port each. For security, the base version has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the Plus variant carries an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Both devices support the Rainwater Smart Touch feature that allows users to use the phones in the rain or with wet hands.
The Realme 13 5G comes with 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD (1,080 x 2, 400 pixels) “Eye Comfort” display with a 120HZ refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 580 units of typical brightness level.
Realme 13 5G is equipped with Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm processor (2x Cortex – A76 @ 2.4GHz 6x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHx) with Arm Mali-G57 MC2, GPU. It comes with a hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD).
The Realme 13 5G comes in Dark Purple, and Speed Green colors and is priced Rs. 17, 999 for the 8GB + 128GB and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 19, 999.
Meanwhile, the Realme 13+ 5G, comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, also featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The back of the devices houses a 50MP main shooter with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
The Realme 13+ comes in Victory Gold, Speed Green, and Dark Purple colors. The 13+ is equipped with up to 26GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The handsets will be available for pre-orders starting at 6pm IST on August 29 till September 5 on Flipkart, the Realme India website and offline mainline stores. The first sale of the Realme 13 5G series will begin on September 6.
