Calgary Polcie Service (CPS) is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing teenager who was last seen in the Southeast community of Penbrooke Meadows.

According to CPS, Laila, 16, was last seen on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at around 7pm, outside of a convenience store located in the 5300 block of 17 Avenue S.E. “After exhausting all investigative avenues to locate Laila, police are now turning to the public for their help”, says the CPS News Release.

“It is out of character for Laila to not be in contact with her family for this long, and we, along with her family are concerned for her well-being. At this time, there is nothing to indicate foul play is involved.”

Police describes Laila as 6′ tall, approximately 210 pounds, with black hair. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Laila is asked to call the police on 403-266-1234 or drop anonymous on Crime Stoppers.
