Calgary Police Public Help to Find Missing Girl

Ayoum Ayo was last seen on March 20, said the police.

Calgary police are seeking the help of the public to find a missing girl, identified as Ayoum Ayo.

11-year-old Ayoum was last seen in the 100 block of 16 Avenue N.E. at 5:45p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023. Police say she was reported missing from the northeast community of Tuxedo Park.

Police say all efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful, and they are “now turning to the public to help further the investigation.” The CPS said “there’s nothing to indicate foul play in involved, but police are concerned for Ayoum’s well-being.”

Ayoum is described as around 4’8” tall, 90 pounds, with a slim build, brown eyes and black hair, which is sometimes dyed. The reports says she was last seen wearing a bright-pink puffy winter jacket, a camouflage patterned zip up sweater, black Nike leggings, long white Nike socks and red and black high-top Nike shoes.

The police said while the case does not meet the “threshold of an Amber Alert”, they are now working with their partners at the Missing Children’s Society of Canada to issue an alert in hopes of locating Ayoum.

Police have asked anyone with information about Ayoum’s whereabouts or her movements any time after Monday, to contact them by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
