Missing Calgary Woman Confirmed Dead by Police

A Calgary woman who has been missing since late last month has been located deceased, says the police.

The woman, identified as Amy Fahlman has been missing for over a week and scores of volunteers had helped RCMP search for her in the areas along Highway 40 north of Cochrane and West of Water Valley.

According to the police, Fahlman’s brother last spoke to her on September 29, when she was reportedly going for a scenic drive along familiar route. She was missing from the northwest community of Hawkwood, says the police.

The police says her death is “deemed non-criminal in nature and no further information will be released.”
