Xosha Roquemore Lands Major Role in Captain America: New World Order

Marvel has added rising star, Xosha Roquemore to the cast of Captain America: New World Order.

Xosha Roquemore is set to join the ensemble cast of Marvel’s highly-anticipated fourth film in the Franchise, Captain America: New World Order. The cast includes Anthony Mackie, Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford and Shira Haas.

In the exclusive report by Deadline, Julius Onah will direct the film with “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” showrunner Malcolm Spellman writing the script with Dalan Musson. The film will be released on May 3, 2024.

Mackie returns to reprise his role as Sam Wilson, but instead of playing his alter-ego Falcon, he is now the new Captain America. Details about the project including Roquemore’s new character have been kept under wraps.

This will be the biggest gig for the 38-year-old actress. Roquemore starred in films and TV shows including “The Mindy Project”, “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Sherman’s Showcase.”
