Calgary Police have taken one person into custody following shooting outside Calgary International Airport.
Police said they responded to reports of shots fired outside the airport, just after noon. Upon arrival, the suspected shooter was taken into custody. The police believes the shooting stemmed from road rage.
A post on the airport’s social media said the incident happened near the cellphone lot. Two people were reportedly hospitalized due to the shooting.
Police said there were multiple witnesses at the scene and there was no “threat to public safety.” Investigation into the incident is still ongoing and there are no further details at this time.
