Prince Harry said “I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back,” in the release of a trailer for an upcoming TV interview.”
In a trailer released by ITV the prince said “they’ve shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile,” he also said “I want a family not an institution.” CBS also released a trailer where the prince said he was “betrayed.”
CBS and ITV released short trailers of the interview with the Duke of Sussex, both of which will broadcast on January 8, two days before his memoir, Spare is published. In the interview with ITV where he will be speaking to Tom Brady he said “it never needed to be this way,” “they feel as though it is better to keep us somehow as the villains.”
The 60 minutes interview with CBS’ Anderson Cooper he said “The family motto is ‘never complain never explain, but it’s just a motto.” He said, “They will feed or have a conversation with a correspondent, and that correspondent will literally be spoon-fed information and write the story, and at the bottom of it, they will say they have reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.”
“But the whole story is Buckingham Palace commenting. So when we’re being told for the last six years, ‘we can’t put a statement out to protect you’, but you do it for other members of the family, there become a point when silence is betrayal.”
