North Korea Passes Law Declaring Itself a Nuclear Weapons State.

The president vows that the country would never up its nuclear weapons and negotiations would not be allowed as the law was passed.

The new law protects the right of the state capital, Pyongyang, to use tactical nuclear strikes to protect itself. Initially, the country was supposed to keep its weapons until other countries denuclearized, however, latest development has seen the decision reversed.

Report says that Kim this law came “amid rising regional tensions over North Korea’s expansion of its nuclear weapons and missiles program”. The new law also interdicts sharing of nuclear-powered knowledge with other countries.
