The biggest night in the music industry arrived on Sunday night at the 66th Grammy Awards ceremony held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, United States.
The night saw major wins for Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus. Meanwhile, five artistes from Nigeria David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, Olamide Adedeji, aka Baddo, and Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, aka Arya Starr, all lost out of the Grammy in their combined ten nominations across different categories.
The event was anchored by Trevor Noah, who is hosting for the fourth time in a row. Taylor Swift made history, becoming the first performer to win the prize for album of the year four times. Swift broke her tie with Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra. She received her award from Celine Dion who made a surprise appearance at the event amid health battles.
