Days of Our Lives Star, John Aniston Dies at 89

Veteran actor known for his role on “Days of Lives”, John Aniston has died as the age of 89 according to daughter, Jennifer Aniston.

In an Instagram post, Jennifer penned a tribute to her late father. She wrote alongside several pictures of her and her father “Sweet papa…John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace- and without pain. And on 11/11 no less!”

“You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. I’ll love you till the end of time”. “Don’t forget to visit”, she added.

John Aniston was born John Anastassakis in Crete, Greece, in 1933 and immigrated with his family to Pennsylvania when he was 10.  His family shortened their name to Aniston.

He is best known for his role as Victor Kiriakis in Days of our Lives and he was awarded the Daytime Emmy Lifetime achievement for his role in the show, early this year. @jenniferaniston
