New research by scientists have now reportedly taken them a step closer to diagnosing long covid.

Global News reports that “The researchers at Lawson Health Research Institute have discovered patients with post covid-19 condition, known as long covid have unique signs in their blood that show rapid changes in their blood vessel”.

Accordingly, these signs could help to decelop the right diagnosis for the long standing mystery, said the same report. Scientists said these new discoveries will now help them to have answers for “frustrated patients by the murky understanding of this illness that exists among both health professionals and the wider public”.
