The officers were reportedly called to the airbnb in Calgary’s southwest community of the Beltline on Saturday for reports of weapons and drug activity.
The police said after searching the room, they found ammunitions, guns, illegal magazines, and $500,000 worth of cocaine along with other “drug circulation equipment”.
The man identified as Anthoulah Dessalines, has been charged with multiple gun-related offences. The police said he has been released on bail and is due to appear in court October 24. The police have urged the community to fully support them in their fight against gun violence and any suspected activities should be reported to the right authorities.
