Calgary police have released photos of “persons of interest” in a violent clash along Falconridge Boulevard earlier this month that left dozens hospitalized.
The Clash happened on Sept 2, outside the Magnolia Banquet Hall between two groups of Eritrean community member. Emergency crews responded to a call reporting the brawl, where about 150 people were fighting and many were armed with weapons.
In an update on Thursday, the police they have created a web page that includes the picture of the 16 people identified. The Police are seeking the help of the public with identifying the “persons of interest”, who they believe “are involved in some capacity.”
“We are requesting assistance from the public to identify persons of interest as we investigate the violence, and the property damage associated with the violent clash that occurred in the city’s northeast on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023”, said the police in a statement.
The Police posted the photographs of the 16 “persons of interest”, and want to speak about their role in the events that occurred on the day of the clash.
The police have asked people with information to come forward or email any information directly to Calgary Police Service Investigators at ITF@calgarypolice.ca.
