BBNaija Star, Rico Swavey dies at 29

Former Big brother Naija season three housemate, Rico Swavey, was confirmed dead on Thursday, October 13.

Fellow housemate, Alexandra Amechuckwu Asogwa, popularly known as Alex Unusual confirmed his death. She took to her social media to express her grief over his death. “This was not what we agreed Rico, Rest in Peace”, she wrote.

The Ex BBNaija housemate, had been involved in a ghastly accident early this week. His colleagues had sought for public funding for his treatment. Revealing that he was on life support.

Reacting to the news, colleagues in the entertainment industry are pouring out their grief on their social media. Tobi Bakre sharing a picture of them together wrote “This is how I will remember us brother. Forever RIP”.

Hazel Oyeze Onou popularly known as Whitemoney, an ex BBNaija housemate, wrote “Life is so fickle!!! Rico was such a jolly good fellow…we were literally together on Sunday for a book launch and even spoke on Monday about business…Really sad news. May God give your family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. Amen”.
