American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande and her ex-husband Dalton Gomez, have finalized their divorce, after nearly three years of marriage.

Grande, 30 and Gomez, 28, have been separated for over a year. Grande filed for divorce in 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple had a prenuptial agreement and had welcomed no children together, and they had no legal dispute, making the divorce to be finalized quickly.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judgement on Tuesday finalized the separation between the two. In the settlement, Grande will make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez. In addition to the payment, Grande will also pay $25,000 towards Gomez’s legal fees, with no future alimony.

Also, the settlement awards half the proceeds from the sale of their shared Los Angeles home to Gomez.

Grande and Gomez started dating in 2020 and even went on lockdown together during the Covid-19 pandemic. They walked down the aisle on May 15, 2021, in a small ceremony at the singer’s home in Montecito, California.

They appeared together in the video for the Justin Bieber charity single “Stuck With U” in May 2020.

Grande will released her seventh album, titled Eternal Sunshine, on 8 March, 2024. She will also be starring in the film adaptation of the musical ‘Wicked’, as the good witch Gllinda, which is scheduled for release in November.
