Businessman Shahzada Dawood and his Suleman are reportedly among the trapped passengers of a missing Titanic submersible.
The submersible went missing on Sunday during an expedition to see the Titanic shipwreck. The Titan vessel set out on its expedition on June 18, with five people on board. It lost contact with 1 hour and 45 minutes into the expedition and has between 70-96hours of oxygen left.
Among those believed to be on board is British businessman and explorer Hamish Harding. French explorer Paul-Henry Nargeolet and Stockton Rush, Chief executive of OceanGate, the firm who organized the expedition, are also believed to be online.
The Titanic wreck, discovered in 1985, is located about 600km off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada and it sits 3,800m deep into the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
Search efforts by the US Coast Guard is currently underway. It still remains unclear what went wrong the submersible.
