Holly Willoughby has made a glorious return to television to resume hosting Dancing on Ice. The 42-year-old presenter quit popular ITV daytime show This Morning in October 2023, after 14 years.
Looking dazzling in a sequined frock, Willoughby went live on latest series of Dancing on Ice with new host, Stephen Mulhern. Arriving on the ice, Willoughby said “Hello! Thank you everybody we are off! Welcome to the greatest show on ice. Let’s hear it for the greatest cast of 2024.”
“And also can we just say a huge welcome to Stephen Mulhern!
The pair had presented a show on ITV morning children’s shows Ministry of Mayhem in their 20s. However, Willoughby had hosted both This Morning and Dancing on Ice with Philip Schofield, 61, until he quit last year due to his “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.
In an Instagram post, this morning wrote “so great to see @hollywilloughby back on our screens where she belongs. Good luck for tonight’s launch of @dancingonice we’ll be watching.”
Meanwhile Willoughby had posted on her own Instagram “Dancing on Ise series 16!… Let’s do this 1 sequin at a time @dancingonice @itv 6:30pm…”
