Calgary Police Investigating Suspicious Death in City’s Northeast

Calgary Police says its homicide unit is investigating a suspicious death in the northeast neighborhood of Pineridge on Sunday.

According to the police, they were called to a residence located in the 2000 block of 65 N.E., for reports of a man in medical distress. They got the call at approximately 12pm on Sunday, and upon arrival found a man deceased inside the residence.

The Calgary Police Homicide Unit is now investigating and officers are in the process of speaking with multiple witnesses, said the police. Report says an autopsy has been scheduled for today, Monday Sept. 25, 2023.

Police says there are no further details available on the incident as the investigation is still in early stages.
