Andrew Tate Arrested in Romania over Human Trafficking Case

Andrew Tate and his brother have been detained as part of human trafficking investigation in Romania.

American-British social media personality, Andrew Tate have been detained along with his brother Tristan Tate in Romania as part of the investigation of human trafficking, rape and forming organized crime group, said prosecutors.

The brothers were arrested alongside two Romanian suspects on Thursday. According to Sky News the prosecutors said “The four suspects… appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites for a cost. They would have gained important sums of money.”

Romania’s anti-organized crime agency said six people had been identified who were sexually exploited by the organized crime group and that five homes were raided. They said the victims were recruited by “British citizens misrepresenting their intention to enter into a marriage or cohabitation relationship and the existence of genuine feelings of love.”

Tate was engaged in a twitter fight with 19-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg before his arrest. The fight started when Tate shared a picture of himself standing next to a Bugatti, bragging that he owns 33 cars.
