One Person in Life-Threatening Condition After Being Struck By…

One person has been left in a life-threatening condition after being struck by a CTrain at Chinook LRT Station in Calgary, on Wednesday.

According to a Calgary Police spokesperson, the incident occurred at around 6:40 pm, reports Global News. The adult victim was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.

Following the incident, the CTrain has been closed. A Calgary Transit post on X says “Chinook station is closed due to an emergency matter. Shuttles have been implemented between 39 Ave Station and Heritage Station.”

The police continues to investigate the incident.
