Andile ‘Sticks’ Dlamini @andile_01_dlamini is a South African footballer born on September 2, 1992 in South Africa. She is primarily known for her role as a goalkeeper and has represented the South African Women’s National Team, Banyana Banyana @banyana.banyana
Andile took on professional football after playing against the South African Women’s National Under-20 football team. Subsequently, she was selected for the team. She made her first appearance for the Banyana Banyana against Botswana in 2011.
Throughout her career, Dlamini has been a significant presence in women’s football in South Africa. She has showcased her goalkeeping skills and contributed to the team’s success in various international competitions.
In 2019, Dlamini participated in the FIFA Women’s World Cup held in France and won Goalkeeper of the tournament in the 2019 COSAFA Cup Tournament. In 2022, Dlamini won the best goalkeeper award in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon).
Asides football, Dlamini is a musician and has released 10 songs so far.
