Twitter to Charge $20 per Month for Verification

The American communications company, twitter has announced plans to begin charging $19.99 per month for new twitter verification. Part of the plan will also include those under the current plan to 90 days to subscribe or lose the blue tick.

This announcement came after Elon Musk, the new owner, tweeted on Sunday “The whole verification process is being revamped right now”. The monthly subscription will reportedly be a part of the premium service and the new implemented changes under the leadership of Elon Musk.

Reportedly, Musk had told the employees working on the project to meet the deadline by November 7 or be ready to face the consequences.

Elon Musk had taken over as the new CEO of Twitter on October 28, 2022.
