Recipe for Macaroni and Cheese
Macaroni
1 Egg
Salted butter
All-purpose flour
Whole milk
Dried Mustard
Grated Cheese
Salt to taste
Black pepper
Procedure for Macaroni and Cheese
Undercook your macaroni and drain out of the pot. In a bowl, beat your egg. On a medium heat, place a pot, melt the butter and sprinkle in flour. Constantly whisk together to avoid burning, after a few minutes add the milk, mustard and continue whisking till smooth. Cook until very thick. Reduce the heat and take out about a ¼ of the sauce, slowly pour into the beaten egg, and whisk together until smooth to avoid cooking the egg.
Pour the egg mixture into the remaining sauce and whisk again until smooth. Add in the grated cheese and stir till it melts. Add the salt and pepper, as desired. Afterwards, pour the drained macaroni and stir together. Serve immediately.
